- Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper, leaving the sides high and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt butter, then add marshmallows and lower the heat.
- Stir constantly, to prevent sticking, until almost melted. Remove from heat and if desired, toss in a few extra mini marshmallows.
- Stir in Lucky Charms cereal, working quickly until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture pan and press carefully in an even layer.
- Allow them to cool in the fridge for about 15 minutes then cut the treats into as many individual pieces as desired.
