- Crush Oreos: Place Oreo cookies in a large zip-top bag and smash with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form—about 1 minute of rhythmic pounding.
- Mix Base: Transfer crumbs to a bowl, add softened cream cheese and powdered sugar, then stir by hand or paddle attachment until a smooth, slightly sticky dough forms—about 2 minutes.
- Shape Truffles: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions, roll into tight balls, and arrange on a parchment-lined tray. Chill in fridge for 15–20 minutes until firm and easier to coat.
- Melt Chocolate: Gently heat semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring between cycles until glossy and fully melted—about 1–2 minutes.
- Coat Truffles: Dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate using a fork, let excess drip off, then place back on parchment. Work quickly before chocolate begins to set.
