  • 240 g Flour
  • 140 g Crystal sugar
  • 1 Pkg Vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 55 g Butter (soft)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 150 g White couverture chocolate
  • 150 g Milk couverture chocolate
  • 40 ml Heavy cream
  • Colorful sprinkles (to taste)

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Donut pans (two, each with 6 molds)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Wooden spoon or hand mixer
  • Whisk
  • Heatproof spatula
  • Small saucepan and heatproof bowl

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C top and bottom heat.
  2. Grease both donut pans with a little soft butter.
  3. Whisk together eggs, crystal sugar, and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl until combined.
  4. Add in the soft butter and keep mixing until everything is smooth and glossy.
  5. Mix in the flour and baking powder just until incorporated.
  6. Pour in the milk slowly and stir again until just combined.
  7. Divide the batter quickly between all 12 donut molds.
  8. Bake on the middle rack for about 15 minutes.
  9. Invert the pans to release the baked donuts and let them cool completely.
  10. Melt both types of chocolate and stir in half the cream to each bowl.
  11. Dip the fully cooled donuts into the glaze.
  12. Sprinkle with colorful decorations as soon as they’re dipped.
  13. Let the glaze firm up at room temperature.
